Although she lives in Ayren, she wants to leave the clouds in order to see the world and learn more about her brother Elements the people of Ahi who control the fires within the earth, the people of Coralen who live in the oceans, and the people of Tier who reign over the jungles. However, millennia-old tradition and familial pressure forbid her from doing so. Will Maila be able to break free of this fate, or will she succumb to the expectations designed by society and her family?

I'm a HUGE FAN of Nicoline Evans books. The first time I met her was at the Heros and Villians Expo in Secaucus, NJ. At that time I wasn't prepared to purchase any of her books but was interested. I told myself if I ever ran into her again that I would make a purchase. We crossed paths again when I attended NY CominCon in 2016. That day I bought 4 books, 'Hall Of Mosses' & 'Field Of Ashes' which are the two books that connect to 'Evo: The Elements'. I also bought 'Haemans' and 'Haemanism The Spread'. All Nicoline books are good and are a MUST read. Right now I have a total of seven of her books and one of those seven books will be delivered to me in a few days. Her writings seem so real as if everything written can possibly happen. My imagination runs wild every time I pick up her books. If you've never read any of her books you must but make sure you go in order, so before reading 'Evo: The Elements' you should first read ' Hall Of Mosses' then 'Field Of Ashes' then finally 'Evo: The Elements'. Without giving to much away the story revolves around several Elements that are humans that have evovled years the world has changed for the better but there is still some evil in the world that wants to destroy what Gaia has done to make the world pure again. In the other two books before this which should be read prior, Gaia ( Mother Nature ) decides to make a life changing decision that will affect all human kind because of how humans have treated the earth. There are several chosen people around the world that Gaia has picked to possibly save the human race whom you will get to know throughout the book. Once I started reading this series I couldn't stop and when I did I dreamt about what each outcome would be. Trust me when I say you will enjoy so happy reading!!!!Product details

I LOVED EVO! It was so fun to read. A really great book to get lost in!!! I really enjoyed the imagery and the imagination behind the characters, they were so unique - It was detailed to the point where I really felt like I could imagine and "be in" the world that was created by Nicoline. Really really hope a sequel comes out to this!! Highly recommend this book, especially if you're looking for a book to get lost in, I couldn't stop reading it )
I have had this book for a few years and finally got to reading it!!! It was amazing. I was invested in the characters very quickly and the story kept me interested. I highly recommend it
I met Nicoline at New York Comic Con 2016. My attention was caught when her book display and I've always loved supporting new writers and artists. At this time, I was in my senior year of college and occupied with required readings, textbooks, articles and papers. I hadn't had time to read a book that I actually wanted to read and there wasn't a book that I enjoyed at the time to even read. I picked up this book, Evo The Elements and I was a fan of this type of genre so I thought I would give it a try. If I told you that I finished this book in 48 hours, you probably wouldn't believe me. But I did. I could NOT put it down and I was obsessed. It has such a wonderful story and I loved the different perspectives and Nicoline's writing style. She's a wonderful writer and I love her books so much. I saw her again at NYCC 2017 and I picked up Hall of Mosses and Orewall. I'm currently reading Haemans and I'm so close to finishing it. I'll continue to support Nicoline and I can't wait to see her again at NYCC 2018!
A creative look at the future!! This book touched on themes such as love, trust, integrity and faith. Looking forward to reading more from this talented author!

I had already read Nicoline Evans, Haemans. So naturally I had to check out Evo The Elements. Nicoline is a very promising young author. Evo The Elements was just what I expected. A fantastic read!!!
The author has a really good writing style and it's easy to follow the story line. I had a very hard time getting past the whole premise that so many drastic evolutionary changes could happen in 4000 years and that human kind would submit to such horrible rulers for 4000 years much less 1000 years. That said I reminded myself this is fantasy fiction and forced myself to read it. Which is how I know the author has a good writing style.
